ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Crews responded to a mobile home fire on Marshallville Road in Perry on Thursday evening, which left four residents displaced and a dog dead; the American Red Cross is assisting as investigators look into the fire’s cause.  WGXA

  • On Wednesday, Jan. 21, Warner Robins will hold a ribbon cutting for its first affordable townhomes on Airman Boulevard. The project, funded by a $1.5 million grant, will help working families earning under $78K—including teachers + police officers—move from renting to owning.  13WMAZ

SPORTS NEWS

  • Veterans' basketball team, led by coach Brandon Driggers, built toughness with its first region win against Northside. Driggers said hard practice will build physical and mental grit as the boys prepare for upcoming rematches.  The Houston Home Journal
