- ➤ After a month missing since Jan. 7, the beloved Habitat for Humanity Restore cat Alpine returned after being found in a neighborhood three miles away and is recovering with vet care; he will welcome customers again later this week (he lost three pounds during his adventure). - ➤ Warner Robins completed the statewide Georgia Economic Placemaking Collaborative and used the program to refresh downtown. The city installed EV chargers on South Armed Forces Boulevard and launched public art projects as part of its new Downtown Placemaking Master Plan, with formal recognition at the GMA Annual Convention in Savannah. - ➤ Central Georgia Technical College hosted its first state-level commercial roofing competition on Friday at its campus. Four students competed in a hands-on challenge as they prepared for the national SkillsUSA event starting Feb. 19 in Atlanta. 13WMAZ
