HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month and doctors say the disease is now the leading cause of cancer death for people under 50. They urge residents to get screened at age 45 and check for signs like blood in the stool or sudden weight loss. WGXA
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Northside’s eight-game win streak ended last week after Houston County swept them in a region series. Meanwhile, Warner Robins capped a four-game non-region win streak with a 12-2 victory and will host Benedictine today before a doubleheader in Savannah on Mar. 13. The Houston Home Journal
