The Houston County Sheriff’s Office will wear new badges in Houston County to honor America’s 250th birthday on July 4, 2026.
Sheriff Moulton said deputies and local residents support the move & believe it shows strong community pride.
Lawmakers approved a bill to suspend Georgia's motor fuel tax for 60 days while it awaits Gov. Kemp's signature (the measure would lower costs by about 33 cents per gallon on gasoline and 36 cents on diesel amid rising fuel prices).
