  • Natalie Brantley, a Houston County High School senior, won a Moose Lodge Youth Awareness Program scholarship at a Warner Robins meeting on March 17 and will travel to Phoenix in April to compete for another award worth up to $12,000, supported by $1,500 in donations.  The Houston Home Journal

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Governor Brian Kemp signed two tax relief bills that offer tax rebates + suspend the motor fuel tax for 60 days, letting local drivers see pump savings as new fuel shipments reach stations while refund payments are issued for 2024 and 2025 tax filings.  WGXA

  • Perry High School soccer coach Nathan Dooley earned his 250th win after a pair of victories over New Hampstead on Wednesday night. He leads both boys and girls teams and said the milestone honors the players + supportive community.  The Houston Home Journal
