CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Warner Robins police searched for 67-year-old Jackie Johnson who went missing on the night of April 12 while driving his red 2002 Lexus GS430 on I-75 south near Arabia, and they urged anyone with information to call Detective Robert Broussard at 478-302-5380. WGXA
- ➤ Perry Police named Michael James Jordan, 34, as a person of interest in connection with the quadruple homicide that left three women and a toddler dead in a Perry home on April 4 — detectives said the victims were either stabbed or suffocated and noted that he is in custody on charges unrelated to the homicides. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ On April 16, the Georgia Labor Movement and Georgia AFL-CIO held a public hearing at the Homer J. Walker Civic Center where federal workers testified that funding cuts have hurt their jobs and essential services. Warner Robins Mayor LaRhonda Patrick and union leaders stressed that cuts to Medicaid and social programs would affect families and weaken local safety nets. The Houston Home Journal
