- ➤ The Warner Robins Fire Department put out a fire at the Stonehenge Apartment complex near the Olympia Skate Center on Sunday — eight apartments were affected, seven families will be displaced with help from the Red Cross, and investigators are examining the cause — with no one hurt. 13WMAZ
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A teen pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter for fatally shooting her 64-year-old neighbor, Enrique A Burgess, in Warner Robins in September 2023 — she said she felt sexually threatened by him and was sentenced to 15 years with 10 years to serve. 13WMAZ
- ➤ Warner Robins police said a hit-and-run on Friday on Myrtle Street between Duke Avenue and Green Street struck a pedestrian around 8:45 p.m.—the victim suffered fractures to both legs, was taken to a nearby hospital, and is in stable condition. WGXA

- ➤ Warner Robins Parks and Recreation has named a new parks director with 40 years of experience—he plans to build an amphitheater and a trail system to expand local recreational options. 13WMAZ
- ➤ Taiya Lockett is urging residents to join a protest on Saturday at 1 p.m. as the demonstration will begin at Perkins Field — moving along Watson Boulevard toward City Hall to voice concerns over immigrant rights and local leadership. WGXA
