- ➤ The Go Fish Education Center in Perry reopened its outdoor aquariums after months of renovations that added new systems and healthier fish. It is open Fri-Sat from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sun from 1 to 5 p.m. (Admission is $5 for children under 12 and $7 for adults). 13WMAZ

- ➤ Houston County law enforcement & firefighters will play a charity softball tournament at Westfield School on Saturday, May 9 with gates opening at 8:30 a.m. and tickets at $5 for individuals and $10 for families, as Operation Arresting Hunger raises funds for first responders with injuries or medical conditions.
