- ➤ Clyde Jackson completed his first 100 days on the Houston County School Board serving post 7 and took part in the groundbreaking for Veterans Middle School—he said he listens to parents, teachers, and administrators to help improve local schools. The Houston Home Journal
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Houston County Sheriff Matt Moulton reflected on his first 100 days in office today, noting he hired about 15 new Detention Center staff and five or six for patrol—while acknowledging that finding additional qualified applicants remains a challenge. He also said the office will adopt new uniforms, switching from the long-used navy blue shirts and French blue pants to forest green pants and silver and tan/khaki shirts by July 1.
