  • Mayor Copelan met with seniors at Pecan Hills Senior Living on Thursday to address their concerns over three abandoned homes that pose safety risks and a shortage of affordable housing, noting that Habitat for Humanity will purchase the properties pending legal steps and that county annexation talks are underway. She also announced plans to replace water lines and upgrade police vehicles with cameras—measures aimed at improving city services.  WGXA
