- ➤ Texas Roadhouse—located at 4070 Watson Boulevard in Warner Robins—opened today at 3 p.m. and will serve dinner until 10 p.m. The owner—a former host at the Macon location—said she plans to build partnerships with local schools and groups as the restaurant begins weekend service at 11 a.m. WGXA
- ➤ Warner Robins Police Department will host its annual bass fishing tournament on Friday, May 16 at Lake Sinclair in Milledgeville to raise funds for Special Olympics Georgia during Police Week. Organizer Officer Greg Martin said weigh-in starts at 3 p.m. and expects more boats to sign up as online registration is open until Wednesday, May 14 — the event has drawn 30 to 50 boats in past years.
