- ➤ Warner Robins City Hall hosted its 35th National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 7, where volunteer coordinator Emily Dennis organized the event and invited WWII veteran John Manning—nearly 100 and a veteran of Iwo Jima and Okinawa—to lead the Pledge of Allegiance. The Houston Home Journal

- ➤ The Museum of Aviation unveiled its GEAR lab on Wednesday, May 6 at the Eagle Building on Heritage Boulevard, offering a hands-on space for students and community members to explore emerging tech such as AI, robotics and virtual reality. - ➤ K9 Dixo retired from the Warner Robins Police Department on Monday, May 4 after nine years of service. Sgt. Shane Mann (the handler) said the decision was planned to help Dixo transition smoothly to a home life. The Houston Home Journal
