- ➤ Brian Eugene Clarke, 40, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault after he shot Calvin Felder in the leg during a fight on September 24 and was sentenced to 20 years—12 to serve in prison and 8 on probation. The Houston Home Journal
- ➤ Ashley Moore— a GDI employee—stole $375,757.69 from Perdue by using ghost employees between Dec. 1st, 2022 and Mar. 31st, 2024 and now faces one count of bank fraud. The Houston Home Journal
- ➤ Bibb County Sheriff's Office warned residents not to pay fees when a caller claiming to be a deputy threatened arrest—these calls are likely scams aimed at stealing money. WPGA
- ➤ A Macon man, Joseph Rainey III, pleaded guilty on June 5 to RICO and drug trafficking charges for distributing narcotics in Bibb and Houston counties after investigators gathered evidence through wiretaps—he was sentenced to 20 years in prison with a $200,000 fine. WGXA
