Owner Tim Lehenbauer confirmed on Thursday that My Father's Place, a popular pizza restaurant in Warner Robins open for 30 years, is up for sale amid current negotiations.

The restaurant will close on June 28th—if it is not purchased, and details about the sale remain unclear.

A Florida woman and a Colorado man were arrested Friday morning on I-75 in Houston County when deputies stopped a 2024 Range Rover near mile marker 138 for following too closely and found large amounts of marijuana, THC wax, vape cartridges, and cash—actions that led to charges of possession with intent to distribute.

Two teens were hospitalized after being shot in their car in Warner Robins early Thursday morning when a suspect vehicle followed them and fired, with a 17-year-old suffering gunshot wounds to his arm, leg and abdomen and a 19-year-old injured in his hand (both are in stable condition) as police investigate.

57-year-old Sonja Profit, an Assistant U.S. Attorney based in Macon, returned from the World Masters Indoor Championships as a gold medalist in the 60-meter hurdles, making her the top-ranked athlete in her event and age group.

She will train for the USATF Masters Outdoor National Championship in Huntsville this summer — proving that age is not a barrier to success in both court and track.
