- ➤ Demetrius Jones, 38, of Warner Robins was convicted on June 12 of two counts of identity fraud and sentenced to 12 years—8 to be served in prison; he had nine previous felony convictions for theft and drug possession. The Houston Home Journal
- ➤ A Florida student pilot pleaded guilty to stealing a private plane from the Perry-Houston County Airport hangar in May 2024 and flew it to North Carolina and back without proper credentials – he now faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine, with sentencing set for September 17. - ➤ Obsidian Hope and the City of Warner Robins will host the fourth annual Juneteenth celebration Thursday, June 19, from 3-8 p.m. at the North Houston Sports Complex — the event includes a kids area, DJ, line dancing, 60 vendors and 11 food trucks indoors to beat the heat.
