A Macon man, Christopher J.
Dismukes, pleaded guilty on Friday to child molestation for abusing a teen for two years in Bibb and Houston counties—he will serve 15 years in prison and five years of probation and must register as a sex offender for life.
Christopher Thomas Smith, 34, of Warner Robins pleaded guilty to trafficking fentanyl and possessing a firearm during a felony on June 26; he was sentenced to 40 years — with 10 years in prison, 30 years on probation, a $100,000 fine and a ban from Houston County.
A traffic stop in Reynolds on Tuesday led to the arrest of 42-year-old Robert Slaton and 47-year-old Kelli Murphy—who gave a false name—with officers finding suspected methamphetamine and drug items and uncovering multiple outstanding felony warrants.
