Southern Santa and Connect EMS teamed up to safely transport a Houston County high school student to her graduation ceremony in Warner Robins on June 27 & brought her home after the event.
Both groups congratulated the Class of 2026 as the community celebrated this milestone.

After five child drownings in the area, swim instructor Amelia Wilson urges parents to follow a five-step water safety plan today.
Wilson recommends constant supervision, secure pool barriers (gates, alarms, and locks), swimming lessons when children have enough core strength, and life jackets to protect against drowning.

Former Game Changer Josh Jackson from Houston County High School signed a full-ride deal with Mercer University to play basketball and study business, saying he chose Mercer for family and home ties.
He was named Offensive Player of the Year and joined the 1,000-point club at the end of his high school career.
