- ➤ Brian McManus was sentenced for killing his wife in Warner Robins after she said she would turn him in for green card fraud + he sent a text to his mistress before planning the crime+ the district attorney said the message was key evidence. 13WMAZ
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Local food providers have expressed concern that federal cuts to SNAP benefits will force families to manage without food stamps — a change that may lead to increased food insecurity. Many worry that residents who rely on this assistance will face added challenges in accessing food. WPGA
- ➤ Houston Public Works said they are working to ease traffic on Elberta Road and expect to finish the improvements by the end of September—weather permitting. Drivers are advised to remain cautious until the work is complete. 13WMAZ
