The Houston County 911 Center has upgraded its wellness check system with ConfirmOK (cloud-based) to help residents get timely assistance.
Approved at a July 7 commissioners meeting, the system automatically contacts everyone registered and alerts law enforcement if there is no response.
🏥 Health
Ben O’Neil, a local health official, said that 31 to 80 cyclospora cases reported in middle Georgia are not linked to the outbreak affecting four other states.
The Georgia Department of Public Health and CDC urge residents to wash produce thoroughly & seek care if symptoms persist.
