- ➤ Today, Houston County Animal Services saw an increase in animal nuisance calls and offered steps for homeowners to keep wildlife at bay—by modifying habitats, using barriers and repellents, or contacting licensed trappers, as Director Alan Smith explained. The Houston Home Journal
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Warner Robins Police Department will host a fall Citizens Police Academy every Monday from Sep. 8 to Nov. 11 at the Warner Robins Law Enforcement Center to show community members police work firsthand and include eight hours of ride-alongs. Registrations are open until Sept. 15 and the academy will cover patrol, criminal investigations, narcotics, K9 units and crime scene processing. The Houston Home Journal
