Warner Robins police ended a standoff today by taking a man into custody after a family conflict escalated—investigators said the incident began with a family dispute.

Councilman Derek Mack — a longtime Warner Robins resident and Army veteran — announced he is running for reelection this November and will focus on affordable housing, improved city management, and economic development.
He first joined City Council in 2021 after winning over 60% of the vote and said he will keep serving as the voice of the people at City Hall.
🏈 Sports
Westside football head coach Sheddrick Risper (Coach Spoon) will leave the program after the 2025 season, ending his 28-season run that began in 1998.
He is Bibb County’s winningest coach with 116 wins (the most in school history) and said leaving feels bittersweet as he prepares for his final season.
