The Warner Robins Real Time Crime Center shows positive results today as it uses technology—improving public safety with strategic methods.

Bibb School District Campus Police Chief Curtis Adams said officers treat any threat to schools as they would any emergency after warnings in Macon and across Georgia.

He added that protocols are in place to protect students in future incidents.

A Perry man pleaded guilty on June 18 after he stole a 2023 Kia Sorento from a La Quinta Inn parking lot and led officers on a high-speed chase through multiple counties that reached speeds over 100 miles per hour—he was sentenced to 20 years, including 15 in prison and a ban from Houston County.

Warner Robins is nearing completion of its state-of-the-art police training center—three times larger than the old facility—that will centralize classrooms, defensive tactics, and administrative offices under one roof.

Construction began in March and SPLOST funding supports the project, which will be ready for use by the end of the year.
