- ➤ Happy Hour Service Center in Warner Robins received a $25,000 grant from the Made to be Remade initiative to expand recycling services and offer job training for adults with developmental disabilities. The center will soon buy a new multipurpose baler—a tool that compresses recyclables and serves as a hands-on training device—and improve recycling efficiency. 41NBC

- ➤ Chip’n Away at Heart Disease and the International City Corvette Club will host the 14th annual Cardiac Car Show on Saturday, Nov.1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the North Houston Sports Complex (900 North Houston Road, Warner Robins) to offer food trucks, giveaways and health screenings that raise awareness of heart health—with a special focus on women rolling to wellness.
