SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Trinitee Thomas scored 19 points in the Demonettes' round one win over Southwest DeKalb and now carries a bigger role after the team lost key players from last season—head coach Rebecca Ivory said the team will work together to learn from a painful playoff loss. The coach added that new players like Kennedy Bradshaw and Laila Howard-Haney will help support Thomas as they aim to build on last year’s success. The Houston Home Journal
