- ➤ Local organizations in Houston County hosted food resource events for Thanksgiving—VOA Day took place yesterday at the Curtis Event Center in Warner Robins while drive-thru and bagged food giveaways are scheduled for Saturday, Tuesday, and Wednesday—to help families access meals during the holiday season. - ➤ Bibb County leaders approved Barton Malow Builders to plan a new arena to replace the Macon Coliseum. SPLOST funding of $675,000 supports preconstruction services, and crews will break ground next summer with the arena expected to finish in 2028 — Mayor Lester Miller said the project will boost tourism and improve local services. 13WMAZ
- ➤ Warner Robins officials announced that resurfacing work on Dr. Parihar Drive will cause delays today and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.—crews will mill and pave the road—and drivers may face detours or brief lane closures for safety. 41NBC
