- ➤ Authorities confirmed that 65-year-old Nancy Ann Cobb died in a fire that began around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday on Brighton and Belfair Drive in Houston County—investigators are examining the scene after finding a note in a parked car, and her death came days after her boyfriend died from cancer on May 7. 13WMAZ

- ➤ Publix recalled its Greenwise Pear, Kiwi, Spinach and Pea Baby Food pouches after routine testing found elevated lead levels in the product distributed in eight states, including Georgia. Customers who purchased the item can return it for a full refund and no illnesses have been reported. 41NBC
