The Wrap

The highway you take to Bolingbroke is about to have a big birthday. The U.S. Numbered Highway System turns 100 this month, approved on Nov. 11, 1926. Monroe County has three of those U.S. routes, US Hwy-23, Hwy-41, and Hwy-341, and Hwy-41 runs smack through Bolingbroke. Happy 100th, old road.
